RE: Land Protection Bi11270
By way of this letter 1 am voicing my support for passa¢e of Land Protection Bill 270.70% of
Big Island voters have indicated shay support a 2% dedication of property taxis for land
protection, and I strongly urge that the Counoil consider this amount as a barn minimum. This
bill will preserve cultural and natural lends for island residents and future generations.
Furthermore, it makes good economic sense to maintain a beautiful environment that tourists will
come here fo appreciate. Please join with Maui and Kauai-who have passed similar bills-to
preserve our most precious resources.
