SUBJECT: Cost Items, Excluded Managerial Employees
Dear Chairman Arakaki and Members of the County Council:
In accordance with Sections 89C-2 and 89C-3, HRS, attached for Council action is a resolution
authorizing the appropriation of funds to cover pay adjustments for excluded managerial
employees. These pay adjustments covers the period from July 1, 2003 to June 30, 2005. Cost
items presented for your consideration are an across-the-board increase, and step movements.
Attached as an exhibit to the resolution is a schedule showing the total cost of these various
adjustments over the two year period.
