Re: Operating Budget
The State of Hawaii Department of the Attorney General's Crime Prevention and Justice
Assistance Division is providing an additional funding of $5,000 to the Hawaii County
Police Department's Victims Services Coordinator Project. This program includes the
hiring of a Victims Services Coordinator to service the on-going needs of victims from
domestic violence/sexual assault while cases remain under investigation and the
purchasing of equipment and supplies.
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating
$5,000 into the Victims Services Coordinator account and bringing the total grant
appropriation to $39,000.
