RE: Bill No. 275 -Street Addressing and Naming
Enclosed is Bill No. 275, Draft 2, which clarifies the areas in which duplication of street
names is not permitted and the applicability of street name criteria. The changes between the
Draft I and Draft 2 are shown below.
Section 14-86. Street Name Criteria
Street names [°~'~~«°a a°'° ,.c."~° ~~a~~~~~°) shall meet the following criteria:
a) No Duplication. To eliminate potential confusion, duplication of street names within the
same judicial district or zin code zone shall not be permitted. Streets with the same name
but different street type designations shall be considered duplicate street names.
