Iwrite with the deepest alarm at the proposed zoning change above Honomu. My! cp
family has lived in this small town for over ten years and we proudly call it home. The 3
proposal, if it goes through, does nothing less than violates a public trust. With alCof

us whn have bought property and chosen to raise our families in this area an implicit
agreement was made between us and the city and county as to what could be expected
in terms of development. The proposal grossly dismisses this agreement, greatly
alteHng how we can hope to shape our eommuttity in the fixture. Furthermore, what
the Bi ]eland has come to
g represent, namely apace, is being placed in permanent
joopardy. The only beneficiary of flue proposed change is developers and all those ~i
who value money about quality of life and eoncem for our future. If decisions
continue to be made where money rather than integrity is the main concorn, the land
we all love will be altered irreparably. More reaponaible developing, in deference to
the people, not money, must be how we proceed or the price to be paid is more than ~
anyone can afford. Please respect the public Host and demonstrate honor to the land
by never again considering such cattless and heaNess developmenrt.
