Included will be supervised, practical training in: ? gathering data & framing your issue ? researching appropriate grant resources for your project ? finding partners and collaborators ? writing concept papers and budgets ? reviewing final grant proposal prior fo submission The time commitment involves classroom sessions as well as independent work over a period of 6 weeks during July and August and will be very flexible. Class time can be scheduled in the evening or on weekends. Internships in Kona are geared toward first time grant writers with small (up to $5000) projects, with or without non-profit status. Internships in Hilo are open to larger organizations as well. Due to limited class size please enroll by July 7t".
