Reynolds, Tulang and Council Members, To expedite the Request for Proposal process, "no Tyson and I are working closely with Ted Vorfeld, President of Hualalai Engineering. We would like to address your committee at the July 22, 2004 meeting. Since the deadline for the RFI requests was June 30, 2004, and we have responses from several companies, we would like to share them with you and your committee. We believe we will be able to review and complete a preliminary analysis by July 22nd. A discussion of the issues could be beneficial to the Council Committee and to the Department, and to anyone else concerned with this topic. We are hoping to provide the PEMC with a list of prioritized issues for discussion with the committee. Some decisions will need to be made before drafting and publishing the Request for Proposal.
