RE: Communication on No. 666/Resolution No. 205-04
A Resolution for Multi-yeaz Lease
Per your memorandum of July 7, 2004, requesting a breakdown of costs comparing what
would be spent on the new lease for the copier versus the cost of maintaining the current
machine, the following information is provided.
1) Our current 3-year lease expired and we aze requesting for another multi-year
lease.
2) Although the current machine had a 3-year lease which included repairs and
maintenance, staff experienced problems with the current copier.
3) The cost of the current machine, if we were to continue the multi-year lease
agreement, would be $150.83/month (for 1,000 copies per month) plus $.0153
per additional copy beyond the initial 1,000 copies. Total cost per month
averages about $160 - $165. We do not have a price for the new lease as this
fiscal year's bid prices have not been received, yet.
