Re: Operating Budget
We request amending the Council agenda by deleting a bill for an ordinance amending
the Operating Budget by appropriating additional funds into the Occupant Protection
Program account from the State Department of Transportation Public Affairs-Safe
Communities Program.
As a result of the grant ending on September 30, 2004, we would be unable to utilize the
funding by that time. Additional funding will be made available on October 1, 2004, for
the fiscal year ending September 30, 2005.
