The effective date of Ordinance No. 99 137 is December 10, 1999. Therefore, we are applying the three years adjustment based on the adjustment change in the Honolulu Consumer Price Index (HCPI). The first line of the fol]owing table shows the amount for each fair share contribution per lot in accordance with said ordinance. The second line shows the calculations of the first line dollar figwe multiplied by the HCPI adjustment of 1.0233 to get the adjusted dollar amount due per lot. (This is the ratio of the HCPI at the end of 2003 to the HOPI at the end of 2002.) Year Park Police Fire Solid Waste Road TOTAL (per lot) 1999 Ord 99 137 $3,490.85 $168.40 $332.61 $145.62 $3,101.68 $7,239.16 2003 1.0233 (HCPI) $3,572.19 $172.32 $340.36 $149.01 $3,173.95 $7,407.83 Condition E of said ordinance states, "Install street lights, signs and markings meeting with the approval of the Department of Public Works." Your receipt documentation shows that the sum of $1,700 was paid directly to Department of Finance for installation of a required street light. Based on this, the $1,700 will be credited against the fair share contributions for road and traffic improvements. Based on the above, the fair share contributions due for the proposed 4 lots, are as follows: Park 4 x $ 3,572.19 = $ 14,288.76 Police 4 x $ 172.32 = $ 689.28 Fire 4 x 340.36 = 1,361.44 Solid Waste 4 x 149.01 = 596.04 Road 4 x 3,173.95 = 12,695.80 TOTAL Fair Share Due $ 29,631.32 Less Credit for Street Light Expense 1,700.00 Remaining Fair Share due 27,931.32 Less Check No. 112 27,931.32 Balance Due $ 0.00 Mr. Gordon Inaba Page 3 July l 3, 2004 By receipt of the above credit and payment, the applicant has complied with Condition G relating to fair share contribution for the proposed four (4) lots.
