RE: Resolution No. 203-04, Drafr 3 -Pahoa Village Resource Park
Enclosed is Resolution No. 203-04, Draft 3, for acquisition of property for the Pahoa Village
Resource Park. The changes from Draft 2 to Draft 3, which add two TMK's recently issued for
the property. are as detailed below.
Changes to the title are as follows:
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF PRIVATE PROPERTY BY
EMINENT DOMAIN OR NEGOTIATION FOR THE PAHOA VILLAGE RESOURCE PARK,
PAHOA, D1STR[CT OF PUNA, COUNTY AND STATE OF HAWAII, BEING TAX MAP
KEYS: (3)1-5-002:024 (3)1-5-002:026 and (3)1-5-002:027.
Changes to the fifth WHEREAS clause:
WHEREAS, the construction of the Pahoa Village Resource Park would entail acquisition by the
County of Hawaii of the lands described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and made a part hereof,
identified as Tax Map Keys: (3)1-5-002:024, (3)1-5-002:026 and
Res. X03-C`~, D. 3

temporary construction purposes, including but not limited to, temporary easements for
construction and operations, storage and disposal areas; and
Changes to the first RESOLVED clause are as follows:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAI'1 that in the interest of public welfare, it is necessary, for the public use and purpose. to
wit: The construction and operation of the Pahoa Village Resource Park, to take, acquire and
condemn certain lands with all improvements thereon and appurtenances thereunto belonging,
free and clear of all liens and encumbrances as described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and made
a part hereof, identified as Tax Map Keys (3)1-5-002: 024, (3)1-5-002:026 and (3)1-5-002:027,
owned by Monika Mallick, to be a part ofthe Pahoa Village Resource Park, together with any
adjacent lands necessary for temporary construction purposes, including but not limited to,
temporary easements for construction and operations, storage and disposal areas.
