Comm. 676: AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 03-41 AND AMENDING
(Bill 289) CHAPTER 24 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (1995 EDITION)
RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC (Removing the passenger loading zone
fronting the former After Hours Clinic and restoring this space to regular parking)
From Director of Public Works Bruce C. McClure, dated June 29, 2004, requesting
that Ordinance 03-41 be repealed, because the "AFTER HOURS CLINIC" at 140
Kinoole Street has ceased operations. Transmits the above Bill, together with a letter
from Scott Rogers, Planning Committee, Hilo Downtown Improvement Association,
approving the repeal, and a location map.
Comm. 697: COMPOSITION AND MEMBERSHIP OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS
From Bob Jacobson, Vice Chair, Committee on Human Services and Economic
Development (HSEDC), dated July 7, 2004, regarding maintenance of the member
roster of the various boards and commissions, and requesting Mr. Wendell Hatada be
available to answer questions. Also attached is copy of a letter to Mayor Harry Kim
from HSEDC Chair Fred Holschuh and Council Vice Chair J. Curtis Tyler, [II,
attaching a suggested format for a member roster.
