Re: Operating Budget
The Bay Clinic, through its Hawaii County Anti-Drug Fund Community Grants Program,
has awarded $1,000 to the Department of Parks and Recreation. These funds will be used
to defray costs incurred by the Recreation Division's Honoka'a Summer Fun Youth Camp.
This camp provided an opportunity for youngsters to experience camping and drug
awareness education in a recreational environment.
Enclosed is a resolution to authorize the receipt and expenditure of the Bay Clinic's award of
$1,000 and a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this
award.
If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Department of Parks and
Recreation.
