Thanks for the invite for tonight's meeting but I already have other obligations.
Please send as much information as possible by a-mail, including any time line, money issues and estimates,
design, ownership, antidpated maintenance, long term cost, and anything else pertinent If you have the
anfidpated fair share cost from the DOE, that would help us quickly compare the feasibility of connecting to your
proposed wastewater system.
I'll forward what you send me to George Coates, our DAGS project coordinator's for the Honokaa Elem School,
and George will forward that to the dvil consultant. The elementary school cesspool removal project started in
January of this year and the consutant should be done with soil test and other preliminary data gathering. We're
expecting the schematic design shortly.
Please consider this a-mail as our latter of interest.

Here is a copy of the joint resolution in ptlf format. We will also have
the Honokaa Facilities Plan that was finalized in 1990 available in ptlf
soon. It will show the alternatives that were examined a[ that time.
We would be happy [o include you by speaker phone in our next meetlny,
July 19 at 6:00 if you wish. We will be discussing the presents[ion to
the council antl Che effort to yet "letters of interest." Would you be
willing to send a letter of Sntcrest? We are asking no commitment, just -
interest, and plan to give copies to the council. We are hopi nq to
garner support for some seed money.
