SUBJECT: REQUESTS FROM COUNTY COUNCIL
This memo is to clarify the May 7, 1997 memo from our Deputy regarding requests for
information from any County Councilmembers. To prevent any miscommunication, Iask that
each Division Chief keep both myself and our Deputy informed of major issues or special
concerns expressed directly to you from Councilpersons so we can be prepared to deal with these
issues effectively and in a cooperative manner. Also, any Courtcil requests which require staff
time to research, should be handled on atime-available basis. Should any Councilmember seek
a higher priority, they should make their request through the Chief Engineer's Office.
