Re: Capital Budget
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance adding the Miloli'i Beach Park Improvement project for
$66,457 to the Capital Budget. Lapsed funds from prior appropriations will be used to fund
this reappropriation. Supplemental funding necessary for completion of the construction
project will be attributed from other existing Department of Parks and Recreation accounts
for Accessibility Compliance, Repairs to Facilities and/or Wastewater Improvements. This
project will bring the park's restroom building and wastewater system into compliance with
current building code, health regulations, and accessibility requirements.

A. REQUEST:
Reappropriate CIP account: Miloli'i Beach Park Improvements $66,456.60
by amending Ordinance No. 04-75, Relating to Public Improvements and Financing Thereof for Fiscal Year
2004-05.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
The project will bring the park's restroom building and wastewater system into compliance with current
building codes, health regulations and accessibility requirements.
Lapsed funds from the prior appropriation (Ordinance No. 02-18) will be used to fund this reappropriation.
Supplemental funding necessary for completion of the construction project will be attributed from other
existing Department of Parks and Recreation accounts for Accessibitiliy Compliance, Repairs to Facilities
and/or Wastewater Improvements.
