Comm. 732: REQUEST FROM PUBLIC FOR CHANGE BY MASS TRANSIT IN BUS ROUTE
From Ragnhild Langlet, stating that potential bus passengers, some of them elderly,
cannot travel the distance to the bus stop on Ponahawai, and many have to call taxis.
States there is a need to run buses where people live and requests that the bus be re-
routed from Ponahawai to Kukuau.
Comm. 735: 2004-2005 HAWAII STATE ASSOCIATION OF COUNTIES (HSAC)
SCHEDULE AND 2005 LEGISLATIVE PACKAGE
From Councilmember Michael C. Tulang, Vice President, HSAC, dated
August 13, 2004, summarizing the HSAC Executive Committee meeting held on
August 13, 2004, where three measures from the prior year were approved to forward
to the various County Councils, as listed members are encouraged to submit
legislation for consideration by the Executive Committee and inclusion in the 2005
HSAC Legislative Package. Details the approved dates and locations of the
Executive Committee meetings through July, 2005, and distributes the 2005
Legislative Program Schedule.

Comm. 697: COMPOSITION AND MEMBERSHIP OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS
From Bob Jacobson, Vice Chair, Committee on Human Services and Economic
Development (HSEDC), dated July 7, 2004, regarding maintenance of the member
roster of the various boards and commissions, and requesting Mr. Wendell Hatada be
available to answer questions. Also attached is copy of a letter to Mayor Harry Kim
from HSEDC Chair Fred Holschuh and Council Vice Chair J. Curtis Tyler, III,
attaching a suggested format for a member roster.
