Aloha,
As a concerned citizen of Kailua-Kona, I urge you and your fellow council members to
hold the Clifto's rezoning veto override in Kona, not Hilo. The people of Kona do
not want this project built, and out of respect, we should be given the chance to
make our wishes heard - here in Kona! Overriding Mayor Kim's veto will be going
against the wishes of the people in Kona, and holding the Clifto's rezoning veto
override in Hilo is simply disrespectful to the people of Kona. It also reflects
very badly on the council.
I also implore you to vote to sustain Mayor Kim's veto of Bill 178. He is correct
in his assessment of the situation.
Please prove to me that you really do represent "we the people" and listen to my voice.
