BIJIAC is a multi-agency effort <br /> that seeks to provide a single point of entry for intake, assessment and case management of <br /> delinquent and at-risk youth. These funds, being passed on to a third party agency, will be used to <br /> hire a Project Coordinator to manage the creation of the BIJIAC. <br /> <br /> Enclosed is a resolution to authorize the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the State of Hawai'i <br /> Department of Health. <br /> Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this <br /> $140,000 grant. <br /> <br /> In order to expedite the implementation of this project, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney would <br /> like to request a waiver from the Finance committee and have this resolution and bill heard at the <br /> Council meeting scheduled for September 15, 2004. <br /> If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney. <br /> 'VY4 • <br /> <br /> <br /> Willia+Taaba <br /> Director of Finance <br /> <br /> APPROVED: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Harry Kim <br /> Mayor <br /> Enc.
