Complainant Recontacted By: Detective Steven Correia DatelTime: 08-27-04/1400 hours
Reason for Being in Area:
Marijuana eradication mission. 104 marijuana plants eradicated from this area.
Time in Area: 25 minutes No. of Plants Recovered: 104 plants
Immediate Action Taken:
Comments:
Caller stated that although the helicopter was not flying over caller's residence, caller was aggravated
by the noise. Caller also observed someone hanging from the line and the helicopter was there for
over three hours. Caller was advised that this was part of a marijuana eradication mission (HCPD)
and that police confiscated marijuana plants in the area. Caller believes that the money should be
spent on combating the "ice" problem instead of marijuana enforcement and added that marijuana
cultivation would benefit our County.
