1. if daily c tie-ups are already the topic of many corrversarions in Kona, how can a project this
siu do an to alleviate the problem? It will take more than adding two lanes to the highway to deal

2. if May r Kim his vetoed this project, that doesn't sound like County approbation. Is Cliftds
under the as umption that a majority of County Council members will override the mayor's veto? and
3. if wor, folks already have to drive out of these "luxury" areas on traflrc-choked roads to places
where they an afford the rent, then such a development will ofaly exacerbate this situation. What is
!deemed " ble" and by whom? The people who work in these developments cannot afford
"affordable'", housing! They cannot even afford to rent in or near these arras.
I' So, I say again, please uphold Mayor Kim's veto of Clifto's O'orna project!
