Grant Period (Commencement & Completion): July 1, 2003 to June 30, 2004
Goals: To continue to maintain and improve child support collections and to work with the
community in making presentations concerning paternity and child support to schools and
legal and social organizations (to accommodate both requests from public and private
groups).
Objectives: To collect child support debts owed to the State of Hawaii and custodial parents, improve
staff productivity on the KEIKI system, work to reduce time spent on processing cases and
improve working relationship with judiciary, improve state legislation in paternity and child
support enforcement and educate public and private agencies/persons regarding changes to
the paternity and child support laws.
Results: The division collected over $320,090 in child support debts during fiscal yeaz 2003-2004.
