Re: Operating Budget
The State of Hawai'i Department of Transportation Public Affairs - Safe Community Program, has
authorized a $10,000 Data Grant to the Hawai'i County Police Department. These grants funds
will be used to initiate activities such as legislation that affects electronic data transfer and the
implementation of HawaiTs statewide data system.
Enclosed is a resolution to authorize the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the State of Hawai'i
Department of Transportation for this grant.
Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this
$10,000 Data Grant.
