Please initiate a transfer of $15,000 from the Clerk-Council SVC OCE Misc. Contractual
Services Account No. 010-101-5101.02-115, to the Civil Defense AGC OCE Misc.
Contractual Services Account No. 010-241-5241.02-1 I5, for the purpose of funding
disaster training to be provided by American Red Cross West Hawaii.

RE: Attached Resolution
Pursuant to Section 1(e) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the County
of Hawaii, this written approval is submitted in regard to Resolution No. ~
6 which
transfers $15,000 from the Clerk-Council SVC OVE Misc. Contract Services account to
the Civil Defense AGC OCE Misc. Contract Services account for the purpose of funding
a disaster training program, waiving said referral from the Committee on Finance in order
that appropriate action can be taken by the Council prior to the end of fiscal year 96-97.
In reviewing the contents of the referral, it is deemed advisable that such a waiver be
granted.
