0169HEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or other obligation
requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be
approved by resolution; and
iOVHERIeAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into amulti-year lease agreement for five (5) years for
one (1) copier for the Kona Mayor's Office; and
V190-6ERE/~S, their current copier, which is over 12 years old, can no longer be repaired because of its age
and condition; and
NIIFIERE~4S, acquisition of this copier should increase efficiency of the office as well as save money.

1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five (5) year ;ease agreement of a copier for
the Kona Mayor's Office.
2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the anticipated obligations of the
County under the terms of the agreement.
