Amount of Grant: $75,000.00
Amount of County Match: $25,000.00
Grant Period (Commencement & Completion): 8/1/02 - 6/30-04
Goals: To develop and implement a GIS Street Layer for the entire county, which is a
key component of the Hazard Mitigation Plan for the County of Hawaii.
Objectives: To update incomplete and outdated data which includes the road alignment ,street
names, address ranges, ownership, pavement conditions, and other pertinent
information. To develop an inter-agency system to maintain the data.
Outcomes or Results: The GIS street layer has been completed by the vendor and will be added to the
Hazard Mitigation Plan for the County of Hawaii.
