Kaloko-Honokohau Na ' ual Historical has established a good working relali unship witl.
Lanihau Partners conce the development of West Hawaii Business Park. The major
National Park Service ems with this project were addressed in a stipulatt d decis ion with the
State Land Use Commis 'on. During that period, we had many meetings to a micabl•r we rk
through these issues and ome up with solutions that were agreeable to both l parties. 3in< e that
time, we have had save update meetings with Lanihau staff concerning der elopmE nt I laps and
feel comfortable with th progress we have made, particularly with regard to the prnl eeti in of the
park's natural and cultur resources.
We have received notice t WesC Hawaii Busincss Pazk will be before the F awaii t;ow Ity
Council for approval on eptember l5, 2004 and do not oppose the Council':. appro~ sl o Fthis
project. We look forwaz to a continued close working relationship with Lan thau Partne rs.
