The Queen Kaahumanu <br /> Highway is already maxed out. It doesn't need more cars, <br /> especially since the planned Phase II expansion is <br /> not a sure thing for the foreseeable future. <br /> Plus I'm concerned this will spread out <br /> more urban sprawl outside of the core Kailua-Kona town. <br /> Also another unknown is what impact will this project <br /> have on the pristine ocean waters fronting this project. <br /> This should be another nail in the coffin as I'm concerned <br /> this project will have an adverse impact on the clean ocean <br /> water NELHA uses. <br /> Again I strongly urge you to not override <br /> this veto of the rezoning.
