Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
Re: M.W. Miranda Trucking vs. County of Hawaii, et al.
Civil No. 01-1-0343
The above-reference matter was placed on the County Council's agenda for executive
session on October 20, 2004. However, we respectfully request that the matter be filed.
The reason is that this matter was arbitrated and appealed. Following the appeal,
Plaintiff's counsel informed us that he would be providing us with a demand but as of this date,
we have not received Plaintiff s demand. We will resubmit the request for executive session
once we receive an offer to settle from Plaintiff.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact me.
Respectfully sub.pikted, i~
