Subject: Bill 176, Draft 2, Real Property Taxes Relating to Nonspeculative Residential Use
Assessment amendments
Enclosed for your review and consideration are the following proposed amendments to Bill 176,
Draft 2:
1. Page 1, Section 19-58.1(b), paragraph 2. Exclusive residential use as used in this section
shall not permit the owner to conduct any commercial activities on the property, except as
otherwise yermitted in sections 19-71(al and (bl. [
2. All references to five yeazs should be changed to the or ten yeazs.
These proposed revisions have been shared with the Director of Finance and the Real Property
Tax Administrator.
