The extra funding ensures that the contract management procedures and the overall administration of the program continue to run smoothly. Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating the additional funds into the Product Development Program account and bringing the total grant appropriation to $475,000. These awards are intended to support programs for your county for the period of January 1, 2005 to December 31, 2005. In order to ensure that the contract management procedures and overall administration of the program continues to run smoothly, we will be increasing the maximum amount allowed for administrative expenses to 15% of the full award. We will be forwarding a supplemental agreement to you indicating these changes as soon as possible. We are very excited about our continuing partnership with the County and look forward to working with you.
