RE: Bill No. 348, Draft 2. General Obligation Bond
Attached is Bill 348, Draft 2, which was the result of the following amendments made at
the Finance Committee meeting of October 19, 2004:
1. Amended the park-and-ride facilities to include Hamakua.
2. Increased the general obligation bond authorization from $45 million to $47 million.
The purpose of the additional $2 million is to fund much-needed islandwide facility
planning efforts, such as roadway corridors, sewer and solid waste infrastructure, and
multimodal transportation planning.
3. Additional style changes to the distribution amounts were made.
