Dear members of a Hawaii County Council:
I am writing in sup rtof Comm. #804, B01 350. I am owner of the Honokaa People's Theatre. Our theatre, which
operates on a ma inal basis at best, is profound) effected by the demand abandonment of large Capacity Cesspools.
This theatre certain y cannot support the large capi al expenditures involved in obtaining an appropriate scale septic
system. I presume that the most of other business s on Mamane Street are in a similar situation. We all appreciate that
the County of H ii is considering assuming res nsibility for development of infrastructure which will support the
maintainance of ou communities. This, I think, reacts a proper function of government.
I appreciate that th Honokaa Facilities plan of 1990 already provides a framework for the solution to this problem by
accessing the exist g sewer system. Please facilitate the development of this potential solution by granting passage to
Comm. 804 (Bill 35 )
