Re: Bill 348 to Amend Ordinance no. 04-59
Dear Chairman Chung and members of the Finance Committee:
The Hamakua Safety Council would like to lend its support and encouragement to the
adoption of Bill 348 amending the bond ordinance no. 04-59.
This council has been aware of the dangerous and inconvenient conditions of Sand Gulch
for many years but with no remedy in sight. Bill 348, would be the correct solution for
the continuous safety problems. We would therefore encourage you to include this by-
pass project in the above referenced Ordinance.
Thank you for your consideration of the Sand Gulch by-pass in this funding proposal.
