Thank you for you consideration and assistance in addressing many of our concerns
proposed Sign Bi11280 and our tight buildings that are located in fire Kailua Industrial
Subdivision.
Ma7;y of ow concerns have been sddreased for which we thank you. After mceting wi

understand that the marquee (canopy type) signs which racist in our craters, for the
purpose of sign square footage calculations, w111 include the top, sida5, and bottoms of
marquees. We could nor find limits on maximuttl heighn for mergilee signs. It is our

and on non-illuminated 2' x 8' backings will conform to the proposed Sign Bf11280.
Thera are two situations for which we would ask to receive clarifications as to their
acceptability under proposed Sign Bill 280: ~
e. At our Gold Coast II project (at which Kimo's Furniture and'Killrs Tacos
~ located) the roofline has no marquee, titereforc, wall signs are utilized. On
Page 29, "Wall Sigas," subparagraph "C " it is stated fleet is the Kailua

Gold Coast III (Big Island Floor, Pot Belli Deli, etc.), pedestrian traffic
depends on the over sidewalk hanging signs to go m the stores. Un page 29
under "Marquoo Sign," wa propose the addition of an Alticlo "C":
