(Replaces Amendment Letter of October 14, <br /> 2004) <br /> This letter replaces my previous amendment letter of October 14, 2004. I have further amended <br /> item numbered 4 and 7 and added 10 as follows <br /> 1. Page 1, Section 19-53(a). Amends by deleting [aid-~eq~al~isecl] and replaces it with fair and <br /> consistent. "...as far as possible, uniform, fair and consistent assessment...". <br /> 2. Page 1, Section 19-53(a)(1). Deletes [i~g] and replaces it with Improvements. <br /> 3. Page 1, Section 19-53(a)(2). Replaces [bxil~xg] and replaces it with i~rovements. <br /> 4. *Page 2, Section 19-53(b). Amends to read as follows: "So far as practicable, records shall <br /> be compiled and kept by the director, which shall show the methods established by law [cam <br /> for the determination of values." <br /> 5. Page 2, Section 19-53(c). Adds to the end of the sentence "in accordance with its actual <br /> use". <br /> 6. Page 2, Section 19-53(e)(1). Amends to read as follows, "...highest and best use within each <br /> class". <br /> 7. *Page 3, Section 19-53(e)(2)(A)(iii). Adds to the end of the sentence "except as ft~rev-ided <br /> pex~itted-er1 exempted under sections 19-'71(a) or (b)". <br /> 8. Page 3, Section 19-53(f). Amends to read as follows, "...considered to have special <br /> knowledge of agricultural land values and uses." <br /> 9. Page 6, Section 19-53(g), first sentence. Deletes [~iidit~gs] and replaces it with <br /> improvements. <br /> 10. *Page 5, Section 19-53(f)(4)(B), second sentence. Amends to the to read as follows, "the <br /> land maybe returned to its [deserted] actual agricultural use [fie] or it shall be <br /> assessed and taxed at market" <br /> Thank you for your favorable consideration of this request.
