Re: Operating Budget
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating an
additional $23,500 into the Department of Parks & Recreation Coordinated Services
Program for the Elderly's (CSE) Equipment account. The Hawai'i County Office of Aging
has allocated the $23,500 to the CSE's transportation program to enable them to replace
one of their current vehicle which is either unable to be repaired or cost too much to repair.

Recreation.

B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED).
Council action is needed to amend the Coordinated Services Operating Budget to accommodate increases
in Federal funding. The Hawai'i county Office of Aging has allocated funds to the CSE transportation
program. These funds will enable Coordinated Services to replace one of their current vehicle which are
either unable to be repaired or are costing considerable amounts to repair.
