Re: Resolution for multi-year lease
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year
for a copier for the Department of Finance Accounts Division. Their current copier has
been problematic and its lease will be expiring soon.

A. REQUEST:
Multi-year lease resolution for Accounts Division copy machine. New term would be for 5 years. Also, the
current machine has been problematic.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
Current copy machine lease expires in December 2004. The current machine is continuing to have
problems with the technician making several calls to repair the same problems (auto feeder tray jamming
and "eating" paper, etc.). Prefer to have a copier with the same or newer features as this should lead to
increased office productivity.
