We`m aalehu, do need a regular Fire Station Built for the use of the Regular
Fire Fi ten and for the use of the Volunteers of 11 Alpha. At this time, the
Regal Firemn are housed in s termite infested house with no shelter for their
Equip eat (Trucks and Ambulances), at a cost to the County. The land for a
now F Station, i believe, is available in the Waiobinu area which has an area
big en to have a FdreStation and hopefully a training area for the volunteers
and th regular firemen.
This F tatiob could also be used as an educational source for our Children and
young' uls to learn more about what a firefighter is responsible for and , give
them a opportunity to learn that they do more than the eye sees. Also, a good
chance or more youths to get involved with the volunteer firefighters and
hopeful , be recruited into being a regular firemen.
Please, elude into your BUDGET for next year, a new FIRE STATION for the
Naaleh , Waiobinu area. We do need one, and we sincerely would like you to 4
include one in your budget for 2003. ,
