RESOLUTION NO. 2~' 6 04
A RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE COUNCIL'S SINCERE
GRATITUDE TO COUNCIL MEMBER LENINGRAD ELARIONOFF
FOR HIS YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE COUNTY OF HAWAII.
WHEREAS, LENINGRAD ELARIONOFF has been a Council Member
of the County of Hawaii since 1998 representing Council District 9, North and
South Kohala; and
WHEREAS, during these past six years, Council Member Elarionoff has
participated on all standing committees and served as Chair of the Planning
Committee (2003 - 2004), Chair of the Committee on Public Works and
Intergovernmental Relations (2002-2003), Vice Chair of the Committee on
Parks and Environmental Management (2000-2002), and Vice Chair of the
Committee on Public Works and Parks (1998-2000), and
WHEREAS, Council Member Elarionoff has consistently and
unwaveringly demonstrated personal dedication, leadership, integrity,
commitment to excellence, and outstanding public service to his constituents
and to the general public throughout the County of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, Council Member Elarionoff will complete his third
consecutive term of office at Noon on Wednesday, December 6, 2004, having
compiled an exemplary attendance and voting record for all Council meetings
held during his six years in office..
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF
THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that it hereby extends its sincere gratitude to
Council Member Leningrad Elarionoff for his many years of service ,and offers
its best wishes for his continued health, success and prosperity.
13E IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of Hawaii
transmit a true copy of this resolution to Council Member Leningrad Elarionoff.
