RESOLUTION NO. 277 04
A RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE COUNCIL'S SINCERE
GRATITUDE TO COUNCIL MEMBER JOSEPH REYNOLDS FOR HIS
YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE COUNTY OF HAWAII.
WHEREAS, JOSEPH REYNOLDS has been a Council Member of the
County of Hawaii since 2002, and previously from 1996 through 1998,
representing Council District 7, South Kona; and
WHEREAS, during these past years, Council Member Reynolds has
participated on all standing committees and served as Chair (2003-2004) and
Vice Chair (2002-2003) of the Committee on Parks and Environmental
Management; and Vice Chair of the Committee on Public Works and
Intergovernmental Relations (2003-2004); and
WHEREAS, Council Member Reynolds has consistently and
unwaveringly demonstrated his personal dedication, leadership, integrity,
commitment to excellence, and outstanding public service to his constituents
and to the general public throughout the County of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, Council Member Reynolds will complete his current term
of office at Noon on Wednesday, December 6, 2004, having compiled an
exemplary attendance and voting record for all council meetings held during his
years in office.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF
THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that it hereby extends its sincere gratitude to
Council Member Joseph Reynolds for his many years of service and offers its
best wishes for his continued health, success and prosperity.
~E IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of Hawaii
transmit a true copy of this resolution to Council Member Joseph Reynolds.
