On July 23, 2004, the County Council adopted Resolution 209-04, which authorized the Fire Department to accept the above funds. The funds will be used towards the purchase of a structural fire engine for Fire Station 19 (Volcano). The additional County funding needed to complete this purchase is included in the current budget for the Fire Department. T'he present copier breaks down frequently and the technician states it can no longer be repaired because of its age and condition. The current cost in rental and usage payments is $168 per month. By leasing a new machine for $58 per month, the office will have increased efficiency and will save money.
