The board of directors of Destination Kona Coast is
endorsing the Revised Sign Code. We hope that it will
be passed this November.
signage on this Island, 8e in particular the village of
Kailua-Kona has become a disgrace. At Destination
Kona Coast we work very hard to make sure that
every visitor enjoys a safe 8e pleasant experience. We
are expecting many more visitors, especially cruise
ship passengers, in the coming years. Illegal signs are
unsafe, impede pedestrians 8e are not visually inviting.
Destination Kona Coast's mission is to ensure that every
visitor has a most positive experience while visiting our
Island. poor signage is contrary to that mission.
Please pass the Revised Sign Code so that once 8e for all
we can guarantee proper signage for the Big Island.
