The will remain iat proportion to the building ae recommended in the Master

In ~ curie dietriote like I,ahaina Historic District, Maui Hawaii there is allowance of ~

C. Pit ical Composition
Size }+nd Number of Sign
Particular emphasis should be placed on the size of the sign in relation to
speed limit along the corridor where it ie placed. Figure (9-4) indicates
driver reaction times for the detextninatioa of maatia.um effective readable
algae. Narrow streets, small buildings, small frost yards setbacks, and slow
moving traffic all demand small signs. Exp. Alii Drive speed limit is
15 mikx an hour. (Master Plan figure (9-4) has 15 miles for two lanes with
a 8 square foot sign.
Viewpgiat discussed in Proposed Amendment Section 3-58 Sign area / Lotter
size. ~llowance of 2 signs with the limit of 12 square feet in total given X11 i~
