RECENT FLSA SETTLEMENTS

Farmers Insurance Exchange agreed to a $210 million class action
settlement for failing to pay overtime to 2,400 claims adjusters. The
settlement includes the following
• $ 90 million in back pay
• $170 million in attorneys fees and interest
• $ 40 million dollar for failing to follow a judge's post trial
order to change its pay practices immediately.
Class Action lawsuits for Unpaid overtime benefits:
• $14 million dollar settlement to a class of tour operators.
Scherer v. Group Voyagers, Inc.
• $18 million for a class of 6,000 current and former UPS
workers. Archie v. United Parcel Services, Inc.
• $550,000, settlement to a class of limousine drivers who
claimed they were not paid overtime.
• $ 5.5 million settlement to a class of 721 Plaintiffs. Becerra v.
City of Omaha.
• $ 7.0 million settlement to a class of 1,220. Covey v. King
County,
• $ 2.3 million settlement to a class of 631. Tahmahkera v.
Turrant County,
