It is critical that the abo~~e function continue. ANith our county being far-fl~iig, z'Ijan~
of its residents rel}• on their participation in goy ernment proceedings through their TV
sets. Not onl} that, but I belie~•e a better standard of beha~•ior and more accountabilit}
of our public sere ants is encouraged hen actions and orris are being recorded on
tape for posterit}•.
Count}• mone~• is being misdirected if it includes things like raises for our highest paid
etnplo}•ees and marijuana eradication, }•et o~ errides a critical public sen ice that helps
perpetuate the democratic process.
