RESOLUTIONS Res. 19-95: Requests that the State of Hawaii Eighteenth Legislature adopt the Big Island Business Council's list of priorities and enacts legislation as set forth therein. Comm. 175 Intr. by: Mr. Childs Approved: CHA (1/20/95) Res. 37-95: Authorizes the exemption of the Shipman Self-Help Subdivision Project from certain zoning, subdivision and roadway codes and requirements pursuant to Chapters 201E-201 and 201E-210 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes. Comm. 176 Intr. by: Mr. Childs Approved: CHA (1/20/95) Res. 38-95: Appoints Mr. Harvey Tajiri to the position of "Special Assistant" within the Office of the County Clerk; that the duty of the "Special Assistant" is to represent the best interests of the County and County Council on issues and matters before the Eighteenth Legislature 1995; that these issues and matters are limited to those items enumerated in Mayor Stephen Yamashiro's testimony to the House Committee on Finance, dated January 17, 1995; that if other issues and matters arise, Mr. Tajiri shall seek joint concurrence from the Mayor and Council Chairman prior to representing the County and County Council on such items; that Mr. Tajiri's appointment shall be effective on February 1, 1995 and shall terminate on April 30, 1995. Comm. 1255.02 & 102.01 Intr. by: Mr. Ray Approved: HSPWC-10 Bill 15: Amends Ordinance 94-71, as amended, the Operating (Draft 2) Budget for the County of Hawaii for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 1995, by appropriating revenues in the Fund Balance from Previous Year, Geothermal Asset Fund account by $10,000; and appropriates same to the Asset Fund Rules account; Comm. 91.01 Intr. by: Mr. Rath Approved: FC-20 and Bill 39: Amends Ordinance 94-71, as amended, the Operating Budget for the County of Hawaii for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 1995, by increasing revenues in Transfer From Other Funds Account, General Fund, by $12,975.30; and appropriates same to the Misc Claims & Judgements account.
