Hawaii County Council Page 3 August 7, 1996 RESOLUTIONS Res. 349-96: Authorizes the County of Hawaii to enter into Contract No. HCOA-96-CM(A), with the Executive Office on Aging, Office of the Governor, State of Hawaii, pursuant to HRS Section 46-8, whereby the State of Hawaii provides funds to the County of Hawaii Office of Aging to maintain programs relevant to the needs of the elderly. Re: C-1273 Intr, by: Mr. Arakaki Approved: FC-277 Res. 350-96: Authorizes the County of Hawaii to enter into an agreement with the United States of America, pursuant to HRS 46-7, for a community policing grant. Re: C-1278 Intr. by: Mr. Arakaki Approved: FC-279 Bill 299: Amends Ordinance 96-72, as amended, the Operating Budget for the County of Hawaii for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 1997, by increasing revenues in the Federal Grant Community Policing account by $70,845; and appropriates same to the following accounts: Community Policing Misc Contr Serv ($36,230), Educ-Scien-Recr Equip ($1,800), Computer Equip ($19,375) and Misc Equip ($13,440). Re: C-1280 Intr. by: Mr. Arakaki Approved: FC-280 Bill 300: Amends Ordinance 96-72, as amended, the Operating Budget for the County of Hawaii for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 1997, by increasing revenues in the Federal Grants - Seatbelt Enforcement account by $500; and appropriates same to the Seatbelt Enforcement account. Re: C-1284 Intr. by: Mr. Arakaki Approved: FC-282 Bill 313: Renames the county park known as Pu'ala'a Beach Park to Ahalanui Park and names the pond within that park Maunakea Pond; Re: C-1257.03 Intr. by: Mr. Smith Waived: HSPWC and HSPWC Rpt. 130: Recommends that the park known as Pu'ala'a Park (C-1257.01) be renamed to Ahalanui Park; further that the pond within the park be named Maunakea Pond. ORDER OF THE DAY Bill 683: Amends Chapter 25 (Zoning Code) of the Hawaii (Draft 2) County Code, as amended, relating to one-acre parcels in agricultural districts by increasing the minimum building site area in agricultural districts to three acres.
