Re: Police Grant
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance appropriating $375,000 for a
federal grant called COPS Universal Hiring Supplement Grant received
by the Police Department. This grant is to be used strictly for
salaries and fringe benefits for five police officers for community
policing.
Also enclosed is a resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an
Agreement with the United States of America for this grant.
