Enclosed is a resolution transferring a total of $34,000 from the Parks R&M and Public Works
Miscellaneous Contractual Services accounts to the Capital Projects Fund account to develop a
Skate Park in Pahoa.

RE: Attached Resolution in regards to Operating Budget/Ca itn al Improvements

Pursuant to Section 1(e) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the County of the Council of
Hawaii, this written approval is submitted in regards to Resolution No. 105 ,relating to the
transfer of funds from the Parks R&M and Public Works Miscellaneous Contractual Services
accounts to the Capital Projects Fund account to develop a Skate Park in Pahoa, be numbered
and waived from the Committee on Finance in order that appropriate action can be taken by the
Council.
In reviewing the contents of the referral, it is deemed advisable that such a waiver be granted.

At its meeting of June 18, 1997, the Hawaii County Council
adopted Res . 105-97, which transfers $34, 000 out and from Parks
R&M Improvements, Misc. Contractual Services account ($6, 000)
and Chief Engineer - OCE, Misc. Contractual Services account
($28, 000) ; appropriates to Capital Projects Fund - Pahoa Skate
Park Project ($34,000) ; which was waived to Council by the
Finance Committee.
